He was Presiding Judge for the Pennsylvania Coordinated Opioid Litigation, which resulted in substantial governmental subdivision settlements throughout the Commonwealth. The role called on Judge Dozor (Ret.) to navigate a sea of hundreds of lawyers, approximately 90 governmental subdivision Plaintiffs, and approximately 40 Defendants made up of Manufacturers, Distributors, and Dispensers of Opioid products. The statewide coordination has led to substantial settlements having a positive impact on public health statewide. Before he was appointed to his Judge position, Judge Dozor (Ret.) was in private practice as a Partner in the Law Office of Dozor and Auslander in suburban Philadelphia.
